Choose from our cottages and treehouses beside a stunning hamlet, just a five-minute stroll from a fantastic local pub, all with private hot tubs and access to an indoor swimming pool. Gather family or friends at Newton Farmhouse, with its generous space and beautiful gardens, or stay beside the West Somerset Steam Railway in our Railway Cottage or Railway Carriage, both with private hot tubs.

Craving a unique location right next to The West Somerset Steam Railway Line? We have a traditional stone Railway Cottage or a one-of-a-kind luxury Railway Carriage, both of which come with their own hot tubs in a special setting.

Our cottages and tree houses are all located in the same gorgeously green countryside location. On the site there are two indoor swimming pools; if you’re lucky to be staying in Lavender Barn, then you’ll get access to your very own private pool! Staying in a tree house or one of our other cottages? You’ll get a few hours of private access to your own indoor swimming pool each day. To make sure a cottage doesn’t book up all the best slots, we’ll allocate you with different times each day. Aside from your swimming, you’ll of course have your own private hot tub to relax after a long day of ‘holidaying’!

Newton Farmhouse

Our former family home is the perfect place for groups

Newton Farmhouse was once our own family home and is now a beautifully spacious countryside retreat, perfect for large family gatherings, celebrations and group getaways. Set within stunning Somerset surroundings, the farmhouse combines character and comfort with generous living spaces, beautiful gardens and plenty of room to relax together. During your stay, you’ll also enjoy two hours of private access to the indoor swimming pool at nearby Halse, alongside your own private hot tub to unwind in after a day exploring the Somerset countryside and coast.

Newton Farm is exceptionally well suited to large families or groups, offering generous space and a layout that allows everyone to be together without feeling crowded. With multiple living areas and a flexible bedroom arrangement, it works particularly well for multi-generational stays, helped further by the inclusion of a downstairs bedroom and shower room.

Railway Cottage and Carriage

The most unique steam railway location

Set away from our cottages and tree houses, you’ll find the Railway Cottage and Carriage in their own unique location, front and centre on the Somerset Steam Railway Line. There really is something special about this location; be sure to check the train timetable for your stay to make sure you don’t miss out on the spectacle of the steam train passing!

Away from it all, yet still close to it all! Our central location means that we’re not only easy to get to from all parts of the UK, it’s also a great place from which to explore. You’ll be able to easily get to the North or South Coast for a day trip, whilst exploring the vast expanses of Exmoor are just going to have to be on your bucket list!
