Staying with your dog

We know that no family holiday is complete without bringing the beloved pooch along and at Lavender Hill we welcome your hound with open arms!  Our ideal location in West Somerset means lots of great countryside and woodland walks, especially on nearby Exmoor, are right on the doorstep.  The dog friendly beaches of the Bristol Channel and down along the Jurassic Coast in East Devon are also super easy to get to.

We can welcome two well behaved dogs in each of our cottages – apart from The Tree House.

Your Accommodation

With the exception of our The Tree house, all of our unique holiday homes are dog friendly, often with secure enclosed spaces for your four legged friends to run around in.  Your pooch will love soaking up the new sniffs here at Lavender Hill, exploring far and wide by your side and cosying up by a wood burner at the end of a long day.

The Local Area

Just 11 miles from the vast, rugged Exmoor National Park and within easy reach of the beautiful Quantock Hills, there are plenty of wide open spaces to let your hounds loose to run, roll and sniff to their heart’s content! Once you’re all walked out, there are a whole host of dog friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs dotted across West Somerset to stop for a drink or bite to eat, often in front of a roaring fire.

Dog Friendly Coastline

Whether you head North to the Bristol Channel or South to the Jurassic coast of East Devon and Dorset, there are pooch friendly beaches to uncover for an adventure by the sea. Why not take some supplies or a picnic and while away a whole day splashing in the waves and breathing in that sea air.
