We had a fantastic time here last week, hiring the Lavender Barn for my wife’s milestone birthday. The accommodation itself is very well presented and appointed to a high standard. Alongside this were lovely personal touches such as the welcome bags and fresh flowers. Having its own swimming pool, hot tub and games room meant that we didn’t stray too far from base despite it being set in a stunning part of the world that has coastlines, hills, forests and fields all nearby… You couldn’t ask for much more!

Had a lovely stay in the Railway Carriage which very clean and comfortable. Great location with the trains going by, and the hot tub was a bonus. Enjoyed our time here!

The Lavender Barn and all its facilities were excellent. The Barn was well stocked and had everything you could think of. The swimming pool and hot tub were well used. The customer service was excellent and it made it so much easier to know what to take, as all the information was received before arriving. Would I recommend – certainly, without a doubt! Well done to Lavender Hill Holidays – The best holiday company I have dealt with.

Amazing stay at Cherry Tree House for my Hen Weekend. The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Just returned from a blissful weekend stay in the Cornflower cottage. Everything was perfect and the location was great. So quiet at night. Looking forward to staying in a treehouse next time.

My family and I stayed in the wonderful “Lavender Barn”. A truly beautiful Christmas break, with huge kitchen and equal-sized table. Each and every bedroom was presented lovely! Living room a lovely space also. The children in our family as well as adults, enjoyed the swimming pool, games room and hot tub, it added to the experience. On arrival you notice the cleanliness immediately, the attention to detail with items supplied in every drawer was fantastic. Even a little area for dogs essentials as you enter. Would highly recommend! 😊

Stayed for a long weekend at the railway cottage with friends. Comfortable with good amenities and ideally located to explore the local area. If you’re visiting during the season and the heritage railway is running, this would be fantastic for enthusiasts. Garden was great for the dog, whilst 2 couples and 2 children could all enjoy the hot tub.

A superb location for a family holiday which also welcome dogs. The facilities are ideal, with plenty of room inside if the weather turns, and it’s fully kitted out to keep all people happy. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms for a full house.

Great house for a large family get together with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so that everyone can have their own space. The private pool is really lovely and a great asset. The house was spotlessly clean, the communication from the owners very comprehensive and full of useful information.

Beautiful, charming and remote in the best sense. I look forward to another visit!

Cornflower Cottage and its location are fantastic, the village is stunning with lovely walks around it. 10/10 on the cottages, and the Tree House are also stunning.

I booked the Lavender Barn for a birthday celebration for a group of 10, and I could not have found a better place to stay!! Absolutely incredible! It literally had everything we all wanted and more, from a private hot tub and pool, to the games room and BBQ! Kate was also quick at responding to any questions I had in the lead up to the weekend away. The barn itself was spotless and was beautifully set out, we also appreciated the ensuites for every room, and plenty of parking spaces. We all had the best time and I will be definitely recommending to anyone wanting a brilliant getaway.

My family booked a long weekend at Lavender Barn in June 2021. The facilities were outstanding, the accommodation modern and spacious, and the buildings and gardens were beautifully maintained. We all had a wonderful time and compliment Kate and Steve on the high standards they have achieved.

Beautiful holiday home in Somerset with an on-site pool and jacuzzi…. Would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of a nice, relaxing family holiday to unwind.

We had a lovely week staying in Railway Cottage last week. Loved the steam trains going passed, and looking out for it when on the train!

What a lovely place to stay with family. Traditional farm house that has been so tastefully modernised whilst retaining its rustic charm. They provide everything you could need, including a welcome pack with crisps, biscuits and a locally produced apple juice, milk in the fridge, and enough tea and coffee to see you through to your first shop. The accommodation is more than spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds and quality linen and towels. A whole room of toys for all ages, a mini adventure playground, buggy and high chairs means that even our two babies (ages 2 and 3) have had more than enough to occupy them, and have been comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend and would love to return in the sunshine!

This was a lovely place to stay, very relaxing, beautiful surroundings, every cooking facility you need to “self cater”. Hot tub was really great too.

Two couples and two very well behaved dogs stayed at the Railway Carriage. What a fabulous place, warm comfortable and cosy. Even with the dogs it never felt overcrowded. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. A great relaxation after a series of life events and chance to recoup. Fabulous weather for late March, lots of walking and visiting places. Thank you!

Just spent a few days at the Railway Carriage. Lovely accommodation with private outside area and hot tub on the West Somerset Steam Railway line… amazing! Extra little touches of fresh flowers, robes, a welcome pack (including one for the dog), and even milk in fridge made it special. Also viewed The Barn which was out of this world. 50th ladies birthday weekend at Cherry Tree Farmhouse. This place is totally gorgeous!! Beautiful setting, we had a fabulous time enjoying the hot tub, pool, garden and amazing local walking distance pub. The space was superb, beds comfortable and property spotlessly cleaned, we didn’t want to leave. Totally recommend for a gathering or large family. We will definitely be returning!

We have had a wonderful weekend in Lavender Barn to celebrate an early family Christmas. Everything we needed was there and with 3 children under 5 to entertain, the pool was a fantastic addition. It is very well laid out, quiet and private. We would definitely recommend and will return in the future. Thank you for your attention to detail which makes this such a wonderful place!

Spent a week at Cherry tree farmhouse – what a great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Great location, excellent accommodation and facilities. Relaxing countryside walks, and local community pub well worth a visit or two!

We had the most amazing stay at Treetop House, a stunning location and spotless, I highly recommend!

We’ve just spent Christmas in the Railway Cottage and had a fabulous time. The cottage is in a fantastic location to see the trains and is lovely and peaceful. Everything was very clean and the gift bag was very much appreciated. This was our third holiday with Lavender Hill and definitely won’t be our last.

A very good, relaxed and awesome place!

A week long stay at The Apple Tree House was wonderful, private hot tub, play area, large garden, access to a shared swimming pool and that’s before we get inside! The tree house was clean, well equipped and really comfortable, and the extra touches of a welcome gift bag and an Easter egg for my daughter made for a thoroughly special experience. Location is ideal and you can do as much, or as little, as you wish. Will definitely look forward to a return trip!

Absolutely fantastic place for a well isolated break. The owners have gone to every imaginable length to ensure the house is safe and meeting current guidelines. The house (we stayed in the Apple Tree near the swimming pool) is lovely, beds comfy, house nice and warm, and hot tub is great! Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant Treehouse for my wife’s 40th Birthday, kids couldn’t believe their eyes when first saw it, great privacy, facilities, private swimming times, hot tub and of course, the giant slide from the top decking! Would highly recommend.

We loved the facilities and how dog friendly the place was! Everything was clean and welcoming when we arrived, with a lovely gift basket waiting for us. It’s clear that Kate and her team work hard to keep the accommodation in great condition, and Kate was really helpful when we had queries. Highly recommend Lavender Hill Holidays and we’ll be booking again!
