The West Somerset Railway is the longest heritage railway in England and the trackside position of the Railway Cottage gives you unbeatable views of the majestic locomotives as they roll on past. With over 20 miles of track and ten stations along the way, the railway is one of the most romantic ways to enjoy rural Somerset. It passes through rolling countryside with stunning views of Exmoor in the distance, through quaint Somerset villages and will even get you to Minehead for a seaside family adventure.
